M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies

My Jess turned four this past week-end, which naturally meant I spent all of Friday baking for his little friends and our special family. We wanted to to celebrate all four years that God has given us with this loving boy. In truth, we plan our parties pretty small to keep us from getting lost in the hype. Lesson learned from Party #1, phew!

The food, however, must be party-worthy! We try all sorts of recipes each year. This time around, I tried a seriously delicious recipe off  'Averie Cooks' and made M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies. Moms, these are pure gold for both kiddies and parents. Lots of happy guests this week-end!

You can find this wonderful recipe by clicking here. And just by the way, cupcakes are not the only treat you can dress up. Try adding a wash-tape flag to your cookies to for an instant party feel. I took this batch to my son's birthday ring to break away from the cake tradition. It's the little extras that mean so much.
