I've toted a vanity case full of paints from one country to the next for years. There are many things I've been happy to let go of, but my art supplies are absolutely mine for keeps. I am not a painter by any stretch, but it really is fun to try.
A few Saturdays back, I sat down to try my hand at painting a vase of peonies using a never-been-used box of watercolour tubes. I cheated and printed a pretty picture to reference...so you here have it! - a fresh piece of artwork for our newly decorated bathroom. I used the same frame size and mounting mentioned in this post and will be sure to share a photo once it's hung.
